Over the past few years, the Pi Gamma Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta made the decision to focus on a cause that affected the members of the chapter closely. In doing so, the chapter made the decision to host an ultimate frisbee tournament titled the Ultimate Ultimate Tournament in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).
Every year Canadians are greatly affected by blood cancers. In 2016, approximately 5,900 were diagnosed with leukemia, and 9,000 with lymphoma. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) is a voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLSC funds lifesaving research across Canada, and provides free information and support services.
All proceeds of our philanthropy efforts go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, to support a charity that does outstanding work and to support several of our brothers whose families have been directly effected by leukemia and lymphoma.
