Rush FIJI 2015
The recruitment season for UBC Fraternities is just around the corner making it arguably the most exciting time of the year at the FIJI House. We look forward to getting to know both new students to UBC and students that have not rushed before but are returning students to UBC.
This year, Rush will consist of three official IFC sanctioned events: First Rush, Second Rush, and Formal Rush. Both First and Second Rush give rushees an opportunity to visit all the fraternities and get to meet all the chapters. After first rush, rushees may be invited to one or more formal rush events. As a rushee you then have the opportunity to attend up to two formal rush events. After formal rush, each fraternity will meet and determine who to give bids to. On bids day, you can visit a room on campus to see if there is a bid waiting for you.
Key dates to note for Rush this year are as follows:
First Rush – September 17th (evening – exact time tbd)
Second Rush – September 22nd (evening – exact time tbd)
Formal Rush – September 27th (evening – exact time tbd)
Bids Day – September 28th (9am-3pm)
