Phi Gamma Delta and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada have teamed up to bring you the first annual Ultimate Ultimate Tournament!
What: An Ultimate Tournament!
Who: Co-ed teams of 7-10 (open to all of UBC)
When: March 15th @11am
Where: Wesbrook Field
Why: To help fund research for all blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families
Canadians are greatly affected by blood cancers. In 2015, about 5,800 will be diagnosed with leukemia, and about 8,900 with lymphoma. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) is a voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLSC funds lifesaving research across Canada, and provides free information and support services.
All proceeds will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, as two of our organizers’ families have been directly affected by leukemia this past year. For more information please visit this website.
So come join us on the field March 15th for a Frisbee extravaganza! There will be complementary shirts given to all registered teams. Additionally, there will be free snacks and drinks given out on the day of the event from our sponsors. And to really get your competitive juices flowing, there will be *TBA* top prizes going to the winning team!
